1973 PONTIAC GRANDVILLE CONVERTIBLE

I found this car for sale in a parking lot around October 1994. I paid $500 for it. It had a really chalky paint job, but otherwise was in great condition. There was some rust, but the frame was great and so were the floors. I wheeled it out and it shined pretty well. I drove it to work daily up until the snow flew. Being that it was a '73, all the good horsepower was gone. The best thing was that it ran kind've rich, so if you kicked in the 4 barrels, then it smoked whoever was behind you. Next spring, the tear in the top got so bad that I decided to just sell it. I got $1800 for it!

1975 PONTIAC GRANDVILLE CONVERTIBLE

A few years later, after I became rich and famous, I found this much better version. 75 was the last year of the real convertibles. This car was a rare A/C delete collector edition. It was very solid. I felt like a fat old man in this car. Chicago garage proved too small when I was transferred there, so it had to go.
